The study looked at how the amount of food available for animals in a dry area in Iran changes throughout the year. They focused on three important plant species and found that the amount of food they produced varied a lot from month to month and year to year. This means that the land can't support the same number of animals all the time. It's important for land managers to consider these changes when deciding how many animals can safely graze in the area.
