A study was done to see how well different combinations of brinjal plants could produce fruit. They crossed 32 hybrids with 12 parent plants and found that some combinations produced more fruit than others. The best combination was NSR 1 x Swarna Mani Black, which had the highest fruit yield per plant. This shows that certain combinations of plants can give better results in terms of fruit size and number. This study suggests that there is potential to create new plant lines that can produce more fruit through selective breeding.
