Farmers Boost Carrot Yields by Combining Nitrogen and Organic Fertilizers
In this study, experts wanted to see how different nitrogen and farmyard manure levels affected carrot growth and nutrient uptake. They carried out experiments in fields to test this out. By using varying amounts of nitrogen and manure on carrot crops, they discovered that giving the plants 40 kg per hectare of nitrogen and 10 tons per hectare of manure resulted in the best growth and highest yield of carrots. This means that farmers in areas like Allahabad could get better carrot crops by using these specific amounts of nitrogen and manure. More research is needed to confirm these results over longer periods.
