Revolutionizing coal recovery: Turning waste into valuable resources!
The researchers developed a process to extract clean coal from waste material produced during coal preparation. They removed high ash fractions, ground and separated the remaining material, and found that they could recover 24.47% clean coal with 12.23% ash from the waste. This process increased the ash content of the waste, making it more suitable for further treatment. This study shows that it is possible to recover valuable coal from waste material, which is important for managing coal resources.
