Researchers tested different cow-based bio-enhancers and botanicals to improve soil fertility and nutrient uptake in organic cowpea cultivation. They found that using a combination of FYM, biofertilizers, and Panchagavya resulted in higher P content in seeds, NPK content in stover, and NPK uptake by cowpea. Additionally, treatments with higher N and K content in seeds included FYM with biofertilizers and Panchagavya. Overall, FYM with biofertilizers showed the best results for organic carbon and available NPK after harvest of cowpea.
