Organic manures boost wheat yield and soil health in new study.
The study looked at how different ways of adding nutrients to the soil affected the fertility and nutrient levels of wheat plants. They found that using organic manures along with regular fertilizers increased the amount of organic carbon in the soil and the uptake of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium by the wheat plants. The pH, EC, and available N, P, and K in the soil were not significantly affected by the different treatments. Overall, adding organic manures to the soil can improve soil health and help plants grow better.
