Boost okra yield with natural bioinoculants for healthier harvests!
A study looked at how different treatments affected the growth and yield of okra plants. They tested using bioinoculants, vermicompost, and chemical fertilizers. The best results came from using Azotobacter and phosphorus solubilizing bacteria with vermicompost and 75% NPK. This combination led to the tallest plants, most leaves, highest chlorophyll content, and biggest yield of okra fruits. Using vermicompost alone also improved growth and yield compared to just using chemical fertilizers. The treatments with Azotobacter and phosphorus solubilizing bacteria, along with vermicompost and reduced NPK, gave the highest total yield of okra. Overall, using 50% NPK with vermicompost, Azotobacter, and phosphorus solubilizing bacteria is a cost-effective way to boost okra growth and yield.
