A study was conducted to see how different growing environments affect the growth and yield of maize plants. They tested three different planting dates and three maize varieties. The results showed that planting maize on July 5th with a certain plant density led to the best growth and yield. This combination also resulted in the maize plants taking the most days to mature and using heat most efficiently.
