Optimizing Sulphur and Zinc Boosts Mustard Seed Yield and Oil Content
The study looked at how adding sulphur and zinc to mustard plants affects their seed yield and oil content. They found that using 60 kg of sulphur per hectare resulted in the highest seed yield and oil content, while not using any sulphur led to the lowest yield. Adding 3 kg of zinc per hectare also increased seed yield and oil content, with the best results seen when both sulphur and zinc were used together. This suggests that applying 60 kg of sulphur and 3 kg of zinc per hectare can help increase the yield of BARI Sarisha-14 mustard plants.
