New Water Treatment Method Removes Pollutants Faster and More Efficiently!
The researchers compared two types of activated carbon for water treatment. They found that both super-powdered activated carbon and activated carbon from Miscanthus sacchariflorus are effective in removing pollutants from water. The study showed that these activated carbons can efficiently remove fine particles and organic substances like methylene blue from water using a combination of adsorption and dissolved air flotation processes. The results suggest that this hybrid approach is a simple and cost-effective method for water treatment.
