The study aimed to see if Bazi Granules could help improve sperm quality in rats with a condition called OAS. Rats with OAS were given either Wuziyanzong Pills or different doses of Bazi Granules for treatment. After 28 days, the rats treated with Bazi Granules showed significant increases in sperm concentration, motility, and velocity compared to the OAS control group. They also had higher levels of an antioxidant called superoxide dismutase and lower levels of a marker for oxidative stress known as malondialdehyde. The results suggest that Bazi Granules can enhance the quality of sperm in rats with OAS by repairing damage from oxidative stress and boosting resistance to oxidation.
