Boost Wheat Crop Yields by 44% with Integrated Nutrient Management!
A study was done to see how different ways of managing nutrients affect the growth and yield of wheat. They tested different levels of nitrogen, biofertilizer, and farmyard manure. The results showed that using Azotobacter bacteria, applying farmyard manure, and giving 100% of the recommended nitrogen dose led to taller plants, more shoots, and more tillers. The number of grains and weight of 1000 grains were not affected much by these methods. Using Azotobacter decreased the harvest index, but farmyard manure and 75-100% nitrogen increased it. Overall, using Azotobacter, farmyard manure, and 100% nitrogen produced significantly more wheat yield compared to the control.
