Optimal sulphur fertilization boosts white mustard seed yield and quality.
White mustard seed yield and quality are influenced by sulphur fertilization. Researchers studied three white mustard cultivars and found that Nakielska had the highest seed yield with 10-20 kg·ha-1 of sulphur. This cultivar also had the highest fat and protein content. Weather conditions affected protein and fat levels in seeds. The optimal sulphur dose for high yield in white mustard cultivation is around 10-20 kg·ha-1.
