Optimizing Wheat Sowing Methods Boosts Bread Wheat Yield in Ethiopia
The study looked at different ways of planting wheat seeds and how much to plant to increase wheat yield in Ethiopia. They tested row planting versus broadcasting and different seed rates. The results showed that using a seed rate of 125 kg/ha and row planting gave the highest wheat yield of 3.9 t/ha, while broadcasting and using 200 kg/ha resulted in lower yields. This means that for better wheat production in Senegal and Senmamer, it's best to use a seed rate of 125 kg/ha and row planting.
