The researchers studied how a herbal remedy called Huatan Qushi Decoction (HTQSD) affects obese rats with poor semen quality. They divided the rats into groups, fed them different diets, and gave them various doses of HTQSD or another supplement. After eight weeks, they found that rats given medium-dose HTQSD lost weight and had improved blood lipid levels and sperm quality compared to obese rats without treatment. These results suggest that HTQSD might help with weight loss, lipid metabolism, and semen quality in obese rats.
