Drip irrigation boosts cumin yield and water efficiency in arid climates
A study was done to see how drip irrigation and fertigation affect cumin plant growth and yield in dry climates. Drip irrigation at 0.6 CPE gave the best results, with higher plant height, more seeds per plant, and higher seed yield compared to other methods. Fertigation with 80% of the recommended fertilizer dose also showed good results, similar to using 100% of the dose. Drip irrigation at 0.4 CPE was the most water-efficient method, saving the most water while still producing good yields.
