Colombian agricultural products poised to compete in South Korea market.
The article looks at what influences trade between Colombia and South Korea. They studied the economies of both countries, their trade relationship, and a trade agreement they have. By using a model and data from 1993 to 2013, they found that higher incomes in both countries lead to more trade, while distance and being landlocked make trade less likely. Surprisingly, the trade agreement didn't have a big impact on South Korea's trade. However, Colombian agricultural products could do well in South Korea.
