The researchers studied how different levels of fertigation affect the growth and fruit yield of cucumber plants in a polyhouse. They tested six treatments and found that using 100% recommended fertilizer dose led to the quickest flowering, highest number of branches, and longest harvest period. Plants treated with 100% RDF also produced the heaviest fruits, most fruits per plant, and highest overall yield. Overall, drip irrigation with the right amount of fertilizer can significantly improve cucumber plant growth and yield compared to other treatments.
