Carbon finance boosts renewable energy in Vietnam through hydro power plant
Carbon finance helps fund projects that reduce greenhouse gas emissions in developing countries. This study focuses on establishing the importance of additional revenue from carbon credits in making these projects financially viable. By analyzing economic indicators like IRR and EIRR, researchers can determine the success of Clean Development Mechanism projects. A case study in Vietnam shows how carbon finance can support renewable energy development, specifically through a hydro power plant project. This research highlights the potential for collaboration across sectors and the benefits of integrating climate issues into various projects.
