New document clustering method improves efficiency and quality of information retrieval.
Document clustering based on topic maps is a method used to organize and summarize large collections of documents, like those found on the internet. The goal is to group similar documents together based on their content. Traditional methods have limitations, so a new approach using topic maps was developed. This approach transforms documents into a more concise form and uses the information from topic maps to measure similarity between documents. The results show that this new method improves the quality of document clustering.
