Women in Dehradun, Uttarakhand play a crucial role in agriculture but face discrimination and lack of awareness about policies. They work more than men but receive less pay and recognition. Many women are not educated or allowed to own land. This study shows that few women farmers know about agricultural policies and are not involved in marketing activities.
