A study was done to find the best herbicides for controlling weeds in maize. They tested different combinations and found that using pendimethalin followed by 2,4-D amine was the most effective in reducing weed density and weight. The treatments with these herbicides also resulted in significantly higher maize kernel yields compared to the weedy check. This shows that using specific herbicides can help increase maize production by controlling weeds effectively.
