Building Integrated Photovoltaic (BIPV) systems were studied in Europe to see how their operating temperature affects efficiency and lifespan. Ten BIPV systems were monitored, showing that BIPV systems have higher temperatures than regular PV systems. The study found that the thermal resistance of BIPV systems ranged from 0.0297 to 0.0397, while regular PV systems ranged from 0.0249 to 0.0291. This research aims to find ways to improve the thermal conditions of BIPV systems.
