Researchers conducted field experiments to develop organic nutrient management techniques for growing finger millet. They tested different combinations of compost, vermicompost, farmyard manure, and foliar sprays on finger millet plants. The best results were seen with enriched vermicompost applied in two splits along with egg amino acid foliar spray, leading to the highest grain yield. However, the most economically viable option was using farmyard manure with effective microbes foliar spray, resulting in the highest net return and benefit-cost ratio for organic finger millet production.
