The article analyzes the productivity of China's logistics industry with a focus on environmental factors. It finds that both traditional and green productivity are increasing, mainly due to technical progress. There are regional differences in green productivity growth, with the eastern region leading. Provinces like Zhejiang, Jiangsu, and Guangdong show the highest green productivity growth, while Chongqing lags behind. The gaps between regions are narrowing, but differences within regions are widening. This research sheds light on the importance of environmental considerations in the logistics industry and provides insights on promoting green logistics in China.
