The study assessed the average annual river discharge of the Yantra River in North Bulgaria for the Danube river basin directorate. They evaluated 10% of the multiannual average river discharge at 195 points along the main river and its tributaries. Three regions were identified: upper mountain tributaries, middle part, and lower part of the basin. A map showing these regions was created. The majority of points were in the drainage basins of Vidima, Rositza, Belitza, and Drianovska rivers.
