Solar radiation data from nine stations in Africa were analyzed to predict future solar irradiance levels. The data showed that some stations had higher maximum solar irradiance than others, with Sokoto, Maiduguri, and Kebbi having the highest. Different models were used to forecast solar irradiance, with ARIMA (3,0,3) being the best for Kebbi, Iwo, and Maiduguri, ARIMA (2,0,2) for Calabar and Sokoto, and ARIMA (2,0,3) for Enugu, Ikeja, Ilorin, and Port Harcourt. The forecasted values for 2020 showed good prediction accuracy for future solar irradiance levels.
