Industrial areas in Klang Valley see higher pollution levels, urging work-from-home.
Urban areas in Klang Valley, Malaysia have more air pollution due to industrial and transportation activities. A study looked at how different land uses affect air quality in five cities. Cities with more industry and less green space had worse air quality. During lockdown, air pollution decreased because people stayed home, but pollution in residential areas increased due to more driving. To improve air quality, it's suggested to work from home and reduce driving in residential areas.
