The article analyzes 3D cadastre literature from 2001 to 2019, focusing on legal, institutional, and technical aspects. Most studies concentrate on technical issues, with challenges in reaching international consensus on all aspects. Legal stakeholders are hesitant due to administrative complexities, while technology for 3D data registration has advanced. However, further research is needed to develop a comprehensive 3D cadastre solution that aligns with current legal and technical frameworks.
