Biofertilizers like Azotobacter, Azospirillum, and Klebsiella can boost canola plant growth and yield when used with nitrogen fertilizer. These bacteria increase plant height, weight, branches, and pods. Azotobacter and Azospirillum boost nitrogen levels, while Klebsiella increases phosphorus in plants and seeds. Using a mix of these bacteria with 75% of the recommended nitrogen fertilizer gives the highest seed yield and oil percentage in canola plants. Additionally, these biofertilizers increase beneficial microbes in the soil around the plants.
