Unsuccessful rangeland management methods hinder vegetation growth and biodiversity.
The study looked at different ways to manage rangelands to improve their condition and productivity. Researchers collected data from rangelands in the Haraz River watershed and compared different management methods. They found that balanced and natural methods were best for rangelands in good and fair condition, while artificial methods didn't work well for poor vegetation types. The lack of increase in palatable plant species was due to unsuccessful implementation of management plans. Rangeland plans are more effective when there is a balance between grazing capacity and livestock population.
