The article discusses how spatial and territorial development are connected and important for economic growth in the European North of Russia. It shows that improving existing economic systems through technology and integration is more crucial than creating new projects. Upgrading current production facilities and complexes is a priority for progress in the region. The study suggests using these ideas in government planning to better support regional growth.
