Tax evasion is a serious crime that harms public finances. The study explores why people evade taxes and how it can be seen as a form of resistance to unfair tax laws. The researchers focus on the legal aspects of tax evasion as a crime in Macedonia, looking at who commits these crimes and why. They found that tax evasion is a deliberate action taken by individuals to avoid paying taxes due to the economic burden it places on them.
