Vitamin E Boosts Male Fertility, Protects Sperm from Oxidative Stress
Vitamin E can help improve sperm quality in men with fertility issues. In this experiment, sperm samples from 50 men with poor sperm movement and shape were studied. Some samples were treated with vitamin E, while others were not. Results showed that sperm quality decreased after 2 hours in untreated samples, but improved with vitamin E. After 6 hours, untreated samples had higher levels of harmful substances, while vitamin E-treated samples did not. This suggests that vitamin E can protect sperm from damage during the process of preparing it for assisted reproduction techniques.
