The article discusses the importance of bringing unused agricultural land back into production in Russia to support the country's agricultural industry. By analyzing the quantity of agricultural land, reasons for land management crises, and views on overcoming these challenges, it was found that effective state support and financial aid for farmers are crucial. Federal programs aimed at preserving agricultural land and increasing productivity have been successful. To make informed decisions about land use, a digital platform combining data on land quality and legal status from different departments is needed.
