The goal of the study was to compare water resources governance in two areas in Uganda's Lake Albert basin, one with Integrated Water Resources Management (IWRM) projects and one without. The researchers found that the area with IWRM practices had better water resources governance compared to the area without such practices. This suggests that using IWRM approaches can lead to improved water management and governance.
