Dry-seeded rice varieties boost nutrient uptake, soil fertility for farmers
The study looked at how different fertilizer levels affected the growth of three types of rice plants. They found that one variety, Indrayani, had the highest nutrient uptake and the best nutrient content in the grain and straw. Another variety, Phule Radha, had the highest available nutrients in the soil after harvest. Overall, using 125% of the recommended fertilizer amount led to the best results for nutrient uptake and availability in the soil.
