Arctic shrubs are growing differently as sea ice melts. Shrubs in most places are growing more, but over a third are actually growing less due to warming and drying from sea ice loss. This shows that shrubs in the Arctic are responding differently to climate change, which will affect how productive the tundra is and how vegetation impacts the climate.
