The article reviews climate change policies in major countries like China, the EU, India, Japan, and the US. These countries have good policies for renewable energy, fuel-efficient vehicles, and forestry. If all countries copied these successful policies, global greenhouse gas emissions could drop by about 20% by 2030. Even though countries would exceed their emission reduction targets, it still wouldn't be enough to keep global temperatures from rising above 2°C. We need more drastic policies to meet the Paris Agreement's goals.
