Aggressive Driving Increases Fuel Consumption by 14.6%, Study Finds.
The researchers studied how driving behavior affects fuel consumption and performance of cars on a highway in Iraq. They used data loggers to track real-world driving patterns and simulated different driving scenarios. Results showed that driving more aggressively increased fuel use by 14.6%, while driving more consistently reduced fuel consumption by 12.8%. This study helps understand how our driving habits impact fuel efficiency and emissions.
