The National Industrial Court of Nigeria has expanded its jurisdiction to cover all labor and employment disputes, as well as broader industrial relations matters. Recent judicial decisions have upheld this expanded jurisdiction. The Court now has exclusive authority over certain subjects that were previously shared with regular high courts. Appeals can now be made to the Court of Appeal from decisions of the National Industrial Court, making it the final authority on these matters.
