Researchers studied different ways of planting wheat after rice to see how it affects water use, productivity, and profit. They tried twelve methods and found that using wide raised beds and keeping crop residue led to higher wheat yield and nutrient uptake. These methods also used less water and gave the most profit compared to traditional methods.
