A study was done to figure out the best way to apply nutrients to sapota plants for better fruit yield. They tried different combinations of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium at different growth stages. The treatment with 20-80-20 at four stages gave the most flowers, highest fruit weight, and the most fruits per tree. These fruits were also the best quality with high sugar content and low acidity. Overall, this method led to the highest yield per tree compared to other treatments.
