New Tef Genotype Promises High Yields and Stability Across Environments!
The researchers studied different tef genotypes to find ones that give high and consistent grain yields across different environments. They used a method called GGE biplot analysis to analyze the data. They found that some genotypes performed well in all test locations, while others varied in their performance. One genotype, G4 (RIL-77C), stood out as both high-yielding and stable in all environments tested. They also identified one specific test location, Adadi-2014, as the best place to evaluate tef genotypes.
