Anhui Province Winter Wheat Fertilizer Study Reveals Need for Improvement
Winter wheat is a crucial crop in Anhui Province, China, and using fertilizers correctly is key to getting good yields. A study surveyed 1591 farmers to see how they were fertilizing their winter wheat. The average yield was 5185 kg per hectare, with farmers using 206 kg of nitrogen, 80 kg of phosphorus, and 78 kg of potassium per hectare. Some farmers were not using fertilizers efficiently, leading to lower yields. By improving fertilizer use, the yield and efficiency of winter wheat in Anhui Province can be increased.
