Compost is a natural fertilizer made from decomposed organic matter. Different types of compost were studied to see how stable and mature they were. The researchers used a Compost Quality Index to evaluate the compost. They found that EFB and FWB compost were stable, while FW and VC compost were mature. FWB compost had the highest microbial population and germination index, making it the highest quality compost. Using a bio-decomposer can improve the quality of compost.
