Livestock farms are getting bigger, and more animals are being raised, so there's a need for smart farms. This study focused on pigs and how to keep their barn environment just right for their health and productivity. The researchers used a deep learning method called RNN to predict when equipment in the barn might break down. By comparing predicted values to actual measurements, they could quickly spot any issues. This approach can help increase pig productivity in different types of farms with lots of equipment.
