Revolutionary Forest Planning Boosts Reforestation Efforts in Salavat RB
The researchers planned silvicultural activities in a forest area in Salavat, Republic of Bashkortostan. They designed logging in mature and over-mature plantations and identified areas for reforestation after logging. Natural restoration of the forest was the main reforestation method, with some areas planned for planting pine and birch trees. Valuable pine trees were chosen for planting based on the growing conditions of the area.
