Gender equality in education boosts economic growth in developing countries.
Gender equality in education positively impacts economic growth in developing countries, especially in sub-Saharan Africa. However, the female-male ratio in the labor market does not significantly affect growth. Having more women in parliament is linked to economic growth in all developing countries, but this relationship is negative in sub-Saharan African countries. Despite increased female political participation, women in these countries may still face obstacles in influencing economic priorities.
