Optimizing Nitrogen and Seed Rates Boost Triticale Yield in Peshawar.
The study looked at how different amounts of seeds and nitrogen affected the yield of Triticale plants. They planted Triticale with seed rates of 80, 100, 120, and 140 kg per hectare, and nitrogen levels of 0, 90, 120, and 150 kg per hectare. They found that using 140 kg of seeds per hectare and 90 kg of nitrogen per hectare resulted in the highest yield of Triticale in Peshawar. This combination led to taller plants, more grains per spike, heavier grains, and higher overall yield compared to other seed rates and nitrogen levels tested.
